Slow cooking is all about simplicity and patience.


1. Classic Beef Stew

  • Cube beef and brown in a skillet.

  • Add veggies, broth, and seasonings to the slow cooker.

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

2. Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

  • Place chicken, veggies, and broth in the slow cooker.

  • Mix dumpling batter and drop spoonfuls into the cooker.

  • Set on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

3. Red Wine Braised Short Ribs

  • Brown short ribs and combine with wine, broth, and veggies.

  • Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
